About the event
A weekend hosted by the Big Picture Theater & Cafe dedicated to films that honor Ellie's passion for adventure, community, the environment, and the voices of youth. Proceeds will support Ellie's Fund.
Ellie’s Fund, established in memory of Ellie Curtis, supports young leaders who are reimagining the relationship between community, the environment and social justice. Ellie grew up in the Mad River Valley of Vermont, was a graduate of the Green Mountain Valley School and Dartmouth College, an All-American ski racer and professional mountain bike racer. She loved all kinds of outdoor adventure. Ellie focused her young career in the public sector on climate justice until her passing from a ski accident in 2025. Ellie’s Fund sustains her legacy by supporting other young leaders working for social and environmental change.
