About the event
The Senior is a 2025 American sports drama film starring Michael Chiklis about Mike Flynt, a 59-year-old construction boss who, through a technicality, is still eligible to play college football again. The film is based on Flynt's true story of returning to Sul Ross State University to finish his senior year and try out for the football team, 35 years after getting kicked off the team for fighting. The film was directed by Rod Lurie and released in theaters on September 19, 2025, by Angel Studios.
